Thanks for checking out the "Moonlighting Photography" website. My name is Bob Streicher and here's a brief bio - at least as it relates to photography,

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and have been taking photos of this beautiful area for many years, starting in high school when I took my first photography course. It wasn't until somewhat recently, however that I realized if I was ever going to get really good at this, that I'd need to jump in with both feet. So, I became a student once again - reading books, magazines, websites & user forums, asking lots of questions, understanding my equipment thoroughly, and applying what I've learned out there in the field.

Today I shoot with a Nikon D300, using a variety of high-quality lenses (of various manufacturers), a Manfrotto tripod & Markins ball head, and various other accessories (filters, speedlight, Capture NX2). As you'll see from my SmugMug photos, I've been busy taking a wide variety of shots of the beautiful outdoors, and in the city of Portland, where I work. I've done one wedding so far, as well as a family photo shoot. Both were fun and exciting, and I think everyone was pretty well satisfied (well, they're still talking to me, at least).

This website is set up to allow purchases to be made directly from the site, for anyone who is interested. Photos of various sizes and paper types, as well as miscellaneous merchandise (e.g., coffee cups, shirts, etc.) can be purchased right here. The "Moonlighting Photography" watermark that's shown on each of the photos will be removed automatically from the purchased photo. Send me an email if you have any questions.
